Christmas at Common Grace 2020
Christmas Eve – Welcoming Wonder
Our Christmas Eve service will post on Facebook and YouTube at 1:00pm on 12/24, and be available to stream anytime after. We hope you’ll make Common Grace worship a part of your holiday celebration, as we join together in Welcoming Wonder!
Christmas Music and Readings
Our Common Grace music team is proud to present familiar songs of Christmas for you! Beginning at 1pm on 12/23, and anytime after, all of the music from our Christmas recording sessions will be available together in one place, along with some brief readings to help you prepare for the big day! This will be available on Facebook and YouTube.
Christmas Eve Candle Lighting
You are welcome to our Ridgeview Campus on Thursday, 12/24 from 4-8pm to light a candle and receive communion elements. You can come to light a candle as a way of sharing in the light of Christ, as a memory of Christmases past, or perhaps in honor or memory of someone you’re missing this year. In addition individual, blessed communion elements will be available for you to take with you. This will be a self-guided, socially-distanced opportunity, located off the upper parking lot of our Ridgeview campus, underneath the steeple.
Drive In Worship – Christmas Eve
We’d love to have you join us for our first ever drive in Christmas Eve service (if the weather cooperates!). You’ll have the chance to join Pastor Kyle and Pastor Nanette for a time of worship, signing, and sharing the light of Christ… headlight style! Service will be at 4:30 and last about 45 minutes. This event is weather dependent; a final announcement will be made on Facebook by 5pm Wednesday. (It’s on!) 2020 is an odd year – why should Christmas Eve worship be any different?!
On Sunday evening, December 20, at 6pm, join us for a livestream concert from the band Cloverton, as a part of their Christmas Caroling Caravan tour! Coming to you from our Ridgeview campus, this will be a great opportunity to celebrate Christmas and enjoy a free virtual concert. Registration and more details here: Cloverton Virtual Christmas Concert!
Waiting on Wonder Message Series
We’ve certainly known waiting this year – waiting for the virus to subside; waiting for the election to end; waiting for normal; it seems like we’ve been doing nothing but waiting. And it’s left us weary. But this is a great place to enter Advent – a season of anticipation and waiting. As we approach Christmas, how can we participate in rejoicing, and wait on wonder?
Join us on the journey each Sunday morning on Facebook at 10:45 on Facebook, or anytime in our sermon archive.
