Tech Volunteers Needed

Volunteer opportunities are available Saturday and Sunday in the sound booth!  No past experience is needed, just a willingness to learn and an attention to detail.  We have positions available for sound, lights, slides, and video. Contact Chandler at cmeierarend@graceumc.church to find a service and time that’s right for you!

Let’s Get Connected Coming To the Coffee Shop

If you haven’t had an opportunity to sign up for an In-Home visit with Nanette this summer, never fear, they continue on!  In August Nanette will be hosting small group meetings in the Coffee Shop here at Grace.  The visits with Nanette have been a huge success and have filled up quickly.  Please take this opportunity to have a one-on-one visit to share what you love about your church, what you believe are the greatest challenges we face, and what are your dreams for Grace as we move together into the future.  Sign up on the Narthex, on-line or call the office at 913-859-0111.

Center of Grace Needs Painters … and LOTS of Them!

The center is preparing for another school year with the Boys & Girls Club.  Renovation is planned for the future, but classrooms and adjoining areas need a cleansing paint job now.  These are used year-round by 125+ children. It has been several years since their precious hand prints have been covered by a fresh coat of paint.  Friday & Saturday Aug 9/10 from 8:00AM-12:00PM bring your favorite paint brush or roller and join us for laughter and good work.  LOTS of bodies are needed!! At least 40 painters to get the work done.  Come to the back lower level of the building.  Yes, snacks will be provided!! Contact Kristi Cooper at waltkristic@gmail.com or 913-669-3131.
