Don’t Forget Your Giving Plan for 2020 Cards
Don’t forget your 2020 Plan for Giving cards are now due back. If you need a card, you can find one in the kiosks in the welcome center. Please place them in the offering plate, drop them in the mail or bring them to the church office.
If you prefer to give online, please press here to go directly to the Grace PushPay account where you can select a one-time gift or setup recurring giving. If you need a card, you can find one in the kiosks in the welcome centers or in the church office. Please prayerfully consider being one of the 400 families to increase your giving by $10 per week or more. Know that all giving is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity.
Fall Family Serve Day
All are invited to participate!
There are projects for every age group. You don’t need kids at home to participate in the Family Serve Day. All are invited to come and be a part, kids, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends … you can be a blessing to someone. Join us this Saturday, November 16th starting at 8:30 am for donuts, coffee and hot chocolate as we gather together and prepare for our projects. Preschool through second grade students and families will serve in a variety of ways at Grace including projects for: Scraps KC (making individual frozen meals for the homeless); The Giving Brick (sorting Legos); The Kindness Rock Project; Center of Grace (Thanksgiving placemats and table favors for community dinner); Grace Care Ministry (making ornaments and cards for our shut ins) and creating Giving Plates. Our third through twelfth grade students and their parents will have the opportunity to choose to stay at Grace and work or go to one of our projects off site doing light yard work. We will finish with everyone back at the church at noon. Childcare is available for young children if not participating in a project. Families come in all different shapes and sizes and we welcome those with and without children! Register to participate at tiny.cc/FallFamilyServe
If you are unable to participate that day, you can still help us make a difference by donating money or items towards our homeless meals and other projects. Contact Stacy Guerrero at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
As part of Fall Family Serve Day. . .
6th-12th grade students will be volunteering to help with any fall yard work chores such as raking leaves or spreading mulch! Please fill out a registration form (found in the Welcome Center) and return to the drop-box (in the Welcome Center) by November 3rd. After you’ve submitted your form, a GUMY staff member will be in contact with you to discuss the details!
