The God I Wish You Knew – The God Who Can Be Trusted

Feeling a bit bogged down these days?

This is Shrek – a sheep that dodged sheering for six. whole. years. (This also might be what we all look like before we can get our hair cut again). By the time he was found, he was carrying around a lot that he needed to get rid of. Maybe you feel like that, too.

Check out Shrek’s story and catch a little encouragement in last weekend’s sermon, as we remind ourselves of the God who can be trusted . . . even in a pandemic.

You can find a video of the message on our Facebook page or audio below.

The God I Wish You Knew – Standing With Us

Perhaps you know the feeling of suddenly realizing you’re alone. When you thought others where going to stand with you – and then they weren’t there. Maybe it’s a friend; maybe it’s a boss who didn’t have your back. In the scripture from this weekend, Jesus finds himself with someone experiencing this in the worst kind of way. And he demonstrates a truth of the God I Wish You Knew – that this is the one who will stand with you us. Get caught up on the weekend’s message here:

The God I Wish You Knew – Bread of Life

Kings and kingdoms will always take, but our God is the God who gives. This God is the one who provides in the wilderness. This God is the one who is for us without condition and before we can even respond to grace. This God – who is self sufficient and self giving – is what Jesus is talking about when he says he is the Bread of Life . . . and this is the God I Wish You Knew!
